At the end of their battle with the Caligni, the lead priest strikes Corbin with their war flail and then siphons his remaining life energy out of his body—he falls to the ground dead. The party retreats and has to ask for help in Absalom. The head priest of Sarenrae revives Corbin for a steep price: 1,600 gp.
After some rest, the party returns to the Farm and explores further. They encounter some wisps and are ambushed by a ghostly apparition: Belcorra Haruvex herself! She casts a mighty spell and nearly wipes the whole party. Clearly, the stakes have been raised.
